Sometimes, people stumble across great ideas at the oddest times, but maybe that’s when you know that the idea is worthwhile. Tying both of those statements together is Bike Fixtation, a kiosk set up along Minneapolis’ Midtown Greenway, a 5.5 mile bicycle highway in Minneapolis’ very bike friendly Uptown area. Founders Chad DeBaker and Alex Anderson got the idea after a friend blew a flat late one night on a bike ride during, of all things, DeBaker’s bachelor party.

In the tightly knit community of Uptown Minneapolis, word travels fast, and hopefully for these guys the word is good. They’ve already received some positive attention, and with an idea that is so viable across the country (or the world, think China), they may just see explosive growth in their near future.
