Not much is known about the Easton Stealth RS stick other than a few rumors going around that it will be available to the public this fall and that it may cost close to $200. It will be interesting to see more players in the NHL sporting it and what they have to say about it.

Hockey Retailer – Total Hockey Adding Another Store in MN

March 18th, 2011 by Cale Loken

Total Hockey, a specialty hockey retailer is opening their 11th location in Burnsville, Minnesota. Total Hockey currently operates 2 other stores in Minnesota including Maplewood and Minnetonka.

The new store is set to open May 1st and will feature over 16,000 sq ft in a strip mall Cobblestone Court. Burnsville is a great area for a specialty hockey retailer as there currently isnt one. Sports Authority, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Play It Again Sports have stores near by, but a large hockey specialty retailer will be great for the hockey players in the community.

If you are a new Total Hockey customer, they are a full line hockey store that sells hockey skates, hockey sticks, inline skates, goalie gloves, goalie sticks, protective hockey gear & apparel, hockey helmets, hockey stick shafts, hockey tape, and everything hockey for the coaches and hockey referees.

Total Hockey sells top brands like Bauer, Easton, Reebok, Warrior, CCM, Vaughn, Graf, Tour, Mission, Sher-wood, Shock Doctor and more.

Most products and brands are available in adult, youth, junior, and intermidiate sizes. Please call any of the Total Hockey locations to ask for availability.

Pens Distribute Almost 1,000 Sets of Hockey Equipment to Children

January 18th, 2011 by sourced

“Learning how to put on full hockey gear for the first time before heading onto the ice is a memorable experience in itself. Now almost a thousand boys and girls will get that experience, as the Penguins distributed 930 sets of free equipment to children at six Dick’s Sporting Goods locations on Tuesday as a part of the Little Penguins Learn to Play Hockey program.”

“Thanks to Sidney Crosby, the Penguins, Reebok and Dick’s Sporting Goods, each participating child receives free head-to-toe hockey equipment, including skates, in order to ease the financial burden on parents.

Now that the children have been outfitted, the majority of the 25 eight to ten-week Learn to Play programs will begin throughout the week at 22 local arenas – some as early as Friday.”

The Original Skate Squeegee

September 23rd, 2010 by Cale Loken

The Original Skate Squeege was started by brothers Brian and Grant Mixdorf.  Their tag line for the Skate Squeege is Anything Else is Just a Stinkin Rag!  The product is unique in the marketplace.  It is used to help hockey players and anyone who uses ice skates dry off their skates after being on the ice.  Most hockey players use towels or hockey socks, however, for younger hockey players and referees this seems like it would be a great product.  The first time I used one of these it completely eliminated the water from the blade.  I don’t play hockey anymore so having something with my skates to wipe them off, prolongs the future of the blades performance and durability.  I would suggest you giving one of these a try, especially you parents out there.  This product is safe and easily fits into a smaller skate bag.

For the retailers out there, you could get this product in your stores with your logo.  So you are not only providing a great and safe product for customers to use, you are advertising your store at the same time.

You can buy one today at www.originalskatesqueegee.com or find a local store on their where to find section.
